to be honest, i think your friends need to learn a new vocabulary word called "opinion"

get his own, cuz everyone has their opinion on what sucks and what's good.

So him telling you that those songs are gay and stop playing them is like..

"Hey, i hate the color yellow and if you wear yellow your stupid."

I love most of those songs. Too bad your friends resort to calling anything with female vocals "gay," or else they might actually like them. Oh, the dastardly duality that is the male mind.

By the way, I'm a guy too, and a good chunk of my playlist consists of DDR-type music, alternative, and speed metal

Who said there's something wrong about liking a song maybe your friends don't like. I get it from my best friend all the time I played too much Freckles, but it's my fav song. Then he rants saying I play Silent Hill too much yeah it sucks know, but I decided to do the original/3rd Christmas tryna AA it. Really, I can careless what he says I like 90% of the songs in DDR maybe more. Surprising I feel like the only guy who LIKES DDR MAX. Like I said, not everyone is going to like what you like that's what makes us different.

You can't please everyone, like what you like and play it and not care what your friends think.

Candy (both) - How can you NOT love these songs??!!!
Be Lovin - Never heard it
Cow Girl - Like the song, love the steps (gallops!)
Dam Dariam - Never heard it
Silent Hill (both) - Love 'em!
Groove - Sounds pretty good.
Hot Limit - Never heard it
Long Train Runnin' - Sounds cool! Nice rhythms.
Midnite Blaze - Wait a sec. Your friends make fun of you because you like THIS song???

Sakura - tempo changes = awesome song
Senorita - from what I heard, sounds OK

So, you're not alone in the "I Love Silent Hill" world. Frankly, I don't understand why your friends don't like Candy or Midnite Blaze, but some people just have weird opinions
