You do not need cable. you just need to buy a blueshark deluxe pad ps2 version. dance pad always come with cable. if you are plan to use on pc, then you might need super dual shock pro.

The "Xpert" dance pad does not have the ignition foam insert, nor the raised arcade buttons. Its just a softpad with some grip-tite foam on the bottom. The Deluxe is your run of the mill ignition pad which is usually one of the most--for a lack of a better term, utilitarian soft/hard pad. Id reccomend the Deluxe Ignition model.

I do not have one, but my friend has one. It is pretty much the same as RO Ignition pad except After Glow Effect.

If you play at night with only TV light, you can see the After Glow effect. It is awesome. thumb.gif

you can find detail information at thier website: http://www.mymybox.com/ddrmbsdx.html

Is this pad any good? Blueshark deluxe pad http://www.mymybox.com/ddrmbsdx.html

my young brother's school is looking for a soft pad for his P.E Class.

Is this pad the same as RedOctane Ignition pad?

I'd go for the BNS Fusion or Sparkle. They're supposed to be the best foam pads on the market.
