Except he doesn't.

I made the 'sudden shift' to ITG about two weeks ago when I played it for the first time at a friend's arcade (a bit of a ways away from me). The only hard parts were the mines, and I adjusted to those after the first song.

Just don't speak in absolutes; I hate that, especially when they're not even correct. ITG is fun. Many other DDR "fanboys" think so too. And if DDR players really have THAT much trouble adjusting to ITG, so much so that it makes for an entertaining show (as shurf suggested it would), then they must not be that good at DDR in the first place. blink.gif

The show was tonight. Very sad ending.

The players were part of a rock band. The prize if they succeed was some hot music instruments and doing the first part of a well known rock band here in quebec.

They trained very hard all week long at home, and at the arcade; playing 8-10 hours each day. They dreamed about arrows. They drank a 18 L of water.

One of the player was randomly chosen for the live challenge during the show. He was pretty decent for a 1 week long ITG player.

He scored 67% on Utopia hard. The success limit was 75% to win the prize.

Damn that sucks for them.

i have to wonder if the tv had upscale lag and caused him to get the 67%, or if he was used to a 4:3 tv and that was 16:9

67% in just a week? Well, it's certainly nothing to be ashamed of. blink.gif

He should've played barefoot. He seemed to keep losing his bearings on the pad and kept short-stepping the arrows.
