Silent hill
Luv to me mix
Jam Jam Regge or whatever that song is called
Blondie girl
Waka Laka
Somewhere over the rainbow (forgot that song even existed)
Living in America
And many others.
I think its universal that many players play songs like A, Daikenkai, Abyss, Love Shine, R3, and other songs. Probably just because its what they see other people play, so its all they know and they play what is comfortable to them =0. Or those songs just steal your soul away |
All of those songs are like my prime choices for Extreme. I never play any of the ones like Daikenkia and Abyss that you mentioned. _________________

I don't think I've EVER seen anyone on any arcade machine other than like...3-4 times. Off the top of my head, one was a 5-year-old and her dad who did Butterfly 3 times, one was a couple that looked in their 20s who had 2 kids and played some really bad ITG song 3 times...
Then they got rid of every DDR machine everywhere (except I think 2 Supernovas far away from where I am) and replaced them with ITG. So I only know all these songs from SM. (<3 beware's ddr extreme sm theme + pack!) Waka Laka and www.Blonde Girl are really awesome songs I think. And Be In My Paradise = best ever. _________________

Most DDR players, especially the more advanced ones, prefer to play Konami originals over the European-produced (yet Japan-exclusive) Dancemania licenses, which has definitely translated itself into the last couple of arcade songlists (SuperNova and SuperNova 2). I've been playing DDR for 3 years now, and yet I'm quite the opposite, but unfortunately it seems true from what I've seen. _________________

The most underplayed songs will vary depending on where you play the game. Here's my report.
Chinatown: Anything from a home version under 9 feet.
New Roc City: Anything on a home version.
Toys R Us Manhattan: Anything over 160bpm.
Coney Island: The entire machine.
This is only my observation and I will be happy if someone can disagree and tell me what they see. _________________

There's a thin line between the two I think. |
